Ravalak Newsletters

Send newsletters from your own WordPress site

A signup form with a consent checkbox, a subscriber list you own, and branded newsletters written in the WordPress editor. Priced per website, not per contact, and built with Canada’s anti-spam law in mind.

Free to download and use, with no subscriber limit. Pro is $50 CAD a year for one website, and your list can grow without your bill growing.

What you get

A signup form with consent

Add [[ravalak_newsletter_form]] anywhere. Visitors tick a consent box, get your welcome email, and you get notified.

Your list, on your site

Search, add and remove subscribers (import and export with Pro). Unsubscribed people stay on record so they are never emailed again.

Write in WordPress

Use the editor you already know, personalise with the subscriber’s first name, preview the email and send yourself a test.

Sent in safe batches

Newsletters go out in batches per minute so your server stays within its sending limits, with pause and resume.

Anti-spam basics built in

Every email has your mailing address and a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribes take effect immediately.

Branded emails

Your logo, colours, fonts and footer on every newsletter and welcome email.

Subscribers: add, import, export and search.

Own your list

Your subscribers are stored in your own WordPress database, not someone else’s platform.

Frequently asked questions

Does it charge per subscriber?

No. It is $50 CAD a year per website however many subscribers you have.

Will my newsletters land in spam?

Deliverability depends mostly on your domain’s email setup. Send from an address on your own domain and make sure SPF and DKIM are set up; an SMTP plugin that sends through your email provider helps too.

Is it CASL compliant?

It gives you the tools CASL expects: a consent checkbox, your mailing address in every email, and an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Getting consent is still your part: only add people who agreed to hear from you.

Can I import my existing list?

Yes, with Ravalak Newsletters Pro: import a CSV with email and first name, as long as everyone on it has agreed to receive your emails.
